San Francisco, CA

San Francisco, CA was a city full of color. From all the different colored barges, to the cable cars, and of course the Golden Gate Bridge. The weather was chilly for summer though, with the temperatures being in the  mid 60's near the water.

Alcatraz in the distance from a nearby pier. Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to get a tour of the island.

Me standing on the pier shivering awkwardly in the cold misty sea breeze.

Cable cars going to and from a stop. The poles sticking out of the ground are push bars to rotate the platform manually by several people on board the cable car.

The brakes on these cable cars are made out of wood, that press against the track when applied.

A view of Alcatraz from the top of a hill.

A blue crab waiting to be cooked at a market.

The number 29 on the floor of the market
